Drug Could Potentially Reverse Effects of Alzheimer's

Earlier this year, the agency granted approval to a drug — the first of its kind — that may slow the progression of the disease. However, the medication hasn’t yet been proven to alter symptoms or outcomes of Alzheimer’s, such as the advancement of cognitive decline and dementia, according to the NIA.
